The duties of a dental laboratory technician generally involve reading prescriptions for a variety of prostheses and dental prostheses. More specifically, technicians pour and make models, articulate casts, use model trimmers and handpieces and fabricate dental appliances. Must have good dexterity and be willing to work with a team. Use standard dental equipment to form and mold material to meet specific requirements.
