I'm with a local non-profit called ETC* and am looking for volunteer host families who would be willing to open their heart & home and host an exchange student for 5 months, 10 months, or as a welcome family for 6-8 weeks! This is an amazing opportunity to give you & your family a life-changing experience! Think of it as adding a new family member and even a second family who will host you in their home abroad! Urgent need to place our last few students this week! Kids in the home NOT required! Many types of families can host, including young couples & empty nesters. Teens in the home can earn service hours & our Presidential Volunteer Service Award which looks great on college applications. All our students speak English and come with insurance, spending money and are excited to fully immerse in family and school activities.
