LINDENHURST, NY —The developers of The Wel in Lindenhurst, Tritec, broke ground in October 2019, and now almost two years later, the first residents of the new luxury rental complex are moving in.
The Wel has 260 units and promotes a range of amenities along with proximity to the Long Island Rail Road station. The studios, one, two and three bedrooms apartment lease from $2,100 to $4,700. The building is located at 75 E. Hoffman Ave.
The first residents moved in this July. The complex offers a rooftop lounge, outdoor pool, a gym, and some more obscure perks like a dog washing station, an indoor cycling studio, a bike storage area and outdoor lawn games.
The Wel's social media is also highlighting the dining options and revived business district Lindenhurst Village is becoming known for.
"Plant your roots and enjoy the blossoming community growing in Lindenhurst," read a July 21 post welcoming the first tenants.
Vision Long Island recently gave the development a smart growth award. Mayor Michael Lavorato praised the proximity to the railroad and downtown for young people and older residents who want to stay locally without home ownership.
