BEVERLY, MA — Beverly residents headed to Lynch Park for Homecoming events this week can also do their little part to help the food insecure across the city.
The Beverly Just Love Project will be collecting items for donation Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon at Lynch Park. Volunteers will be there from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and during the Beverly Homecoming Lobster Festival Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Among the items most needed are cereal, peanut butter, meal replacement bars, tuna fish, soup, pasta, spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese, canned fruit and vegetables, canned chicken, nuts, rice, trail mix, dried fruits, coffee, tea, water, shelf-stable milk, feminine products, shampoo, toothpaste and deodorant.
Donations can be made directly to the Just Love Project.
Volunteers are welcome and can call 508 287 4596 or email [email protected].
