Description

Join us as we take a closer look at the Simeone Museum collection cars that actually took part and competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. For almost 100 years, the 24 Hours of Le Mans has been the pinnacle of sports car racing, and is considered by many to be the most prestigious and important auto race in the world. Instead of focusing on the fastest-machines, Le Mans requires participating teams to balance sporty design and aerodynamics with reliability and endurance. It is a brutal test of driver and machine that pushes both to their limits - and sometimes beyond. Victory brings with it honor to not only the driver, and the team, but also their nation. Join us as we take a closer look at the Simeone Museum collection cars that actually took part in this iconic competition of speed and skill and share the story of their victories, defeats, and the drivers that made them legendary.
