Description
FREE Accessible Yoga with Jahwula, in partnership with Imperial Caribbean & Seafood. All levels are welcomed :) Hey Philly! My name is Jahwula and I'm thrilled to offer Yoga in the Park in partnership with Clara Muhammad. Yoga has been a part of my life since 2014. I started with Restorative classes slowly graduated to Vinyasa and Chair Yoga. 2020 pushed me into taking my practice more seriously. After months of consistent practice, I saw an increase in body strength and self-confidence, on and off the mat. Yoga has taught me to live with intention and bask in every moment.I completed my 200-HR Yoga Teacher Certification with the Yoga and Ayurveda Center. Additional certifications include Restorative Yoga and Chair Yoga. I am a lifelong student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the wisdom that my teachers have shared with me. My yoga philosophy is rooted in practice, collaboration, and community. In my classes, I love to combine practical sequencing, complimentary sounds, and a dose of inspiration. With my yoga offering, I hope to provide an experience that nurtures the mind, strengthens the body, and feeds the soul. ABOUT THE CLASS In this 60-minute class, we'll learn tips about practical self-care, identify our self-care needs, and learn 10 yoga poses that will support your newfound love language. Limited space. Chairs + Props provided. Remember to DRINK WATER & STAY HYDRATED, before, during and after class.
