SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests: At 12:36 a.m. on July 26, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36-year-old male, Wilberto Benitez of Leonia, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Benitez was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult. At 10:55 a.m. on July 27, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division in relation to telephonic threats made against the Secaucus Municipal Court on three separate occasions on 04/12/2021, 04/19/2021 and 07/26/2021, the police arrested a 38-year-old male, Jermaine Glynn of Rahway, NJ for 3 counts of Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3A] and 2 counts of Stalking [2C:12-10D]. Glynn was taken into custody by the NJ Transit Police Department and was served his outstanding complaint warrants. Glynn was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail by the NJ Transit Police Department. Police say Glynn left voice messages on the Secaucus municipal court phone lines requesting the judge and court dismiss previous charges filed against him. If cases were not dismissed, he threatened harm against the municipal judge and other staff members at the town court. At 12:56 a.m. on July 28, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old male, Mark Corrales of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Clinton, NJ in the amount of $120. Corrales was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. At 3:41 p.m. on July 30, Secaucus Police observed a male failing to stop at a stop sign while operating a bicycle. The police had prior knowledge that the individual involved possibly had an active outstanding warrant for his arrest. During the investigation, the police arrested a 44-year-old male, Eric Buesing of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500. Buesing was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody. At 6:51 p.m. on July 30, an individual entered Secaucus Police Headquarters and provided a false insurance card in an attempt to receive a vehicle release for a previously impounded motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 34-year-old female, Taina Mohamed of Jersey City, NJ for Exhibiting a False Insurance Card [2C:21-2.3B]. Mohamed was served her complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 10:47 a.m. on July 31, Secaucus Police responded to the Fair Lawn Police Department to take into custody a 42-year-old male, Milton Neal of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of $500. Neal was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. At 9:23 p.m. on July 31, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old male, Fershawn Sharperson of Jersey City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Methadone [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of CDS believed to be Percocet [2C:35-10A(1)]. Sharperson was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. At 2:51 p.m. on Aug. 1, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36-year-old male, Narciso Perez of Allentown, PA for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Warren Township, NJ in the amount of $1,000. The Warren Township Police Department did release Perez on his own recognizance and he was released from police custody. Be the first to know.
