HOBOKEN, NJ — After city workers cleaned up a conspicuous pool of blood on a residential street at a Hoboken corner Sunday, numerous residents posted on Facebook, concerned about what it was.
At least one resident said the blood included a trail from Eighth Street toward the 9th Street Light Rail Station in that town.

Police Lt. Danilo Cabrera said Monday, "It was from a medical call on July 31 at about 11:30 p.m., where an intoxicated male fell and hit his head on the ground."
The man was taken to Hoboken University Medical Center, Cabrera said.
Hoboken, a mile-square city with more than 130 liquor licenses, has a popular bar and restaurant scene.
