DARIEN, IL — Two men took about an hour to burglarize Darien's Carriage Greens Country Club early Sunday morning, the club said Monday.
Brian Broderick, the club's owner, confirmed the break-in, saying it started about 2 a.m. One of the club's windows was found broken.

Broderick said the suspects took some items from the club. He wanted the police to release any other details that they saw fit about the burglary.
In an interview, Deputy Police Chief Jason Norton said the damage and stolen items amounted to $1,500. He said it was unusual for burglary suspects to stay so long in a building.
"I've been here 20 years. I have never seen (the club) burglarized before," Norton said.
Black and white security footage shows one of the men inside a banquet room. He appeared somewhat formally dressed, wearing a buttoned sport coat, khakis with a belt and his shirt tucked in. He was wearing a hat and a face mask and carrying a large, apparently filled-up backpack.
The other man was seen in color camera footage in the pro shop. He was carrying a bunch of items in his arms. He was wearing a hat and dark clothing, including a relatively heavy jacket for the summer.
