Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 08/01/2021 212130258 Preliminary information:  On Sunday, August 1, 2021, at around 2:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to 1657 Lakewood Ave SW.  Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound.  He was pronounced deceased on scene.  Homicide investigators were notified and will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.  The investigation continues.
