Our residential cleaning technicians are in charge of the cleaning and maintenance of a residence, building, company, or property. Though similar to that of maids and janitors, the job consists mainly of deep cleaning tasks. As a cleaning technician, your primary duties include cleaning floors, spot washing walls, disposing of garbage, performing routine maintenance, and inspecting the premises. You are also in charge of ordering cleaning materials and equipment. Qualifications for this career include prior cleaning and maintenance experience, strong physical stamina, and excellent time management skills. Cleaning technicians often work alone after business *MUST BE AVAILABLE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9am-5pm* *MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE* Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Clean facilities or sites. Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers. Clean equipment or supplies. Polish silver accessories and metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings. Clean furniture or fixtures. Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Dispose of trash or waste materials. Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. Inventory materials or equipment. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers. Clean furniture or fixtures. Clean building walls or flooring. Dust and polish furniture and equipment. Clean furniture or fixtures. Clean equipment or supplies. Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Clean facilities or sites. Inventory materials or equipment. Request repair services and wait for repair workers to arrive. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
