WE ARE HIRING! We are currently accepting applications for a Body/Prep Technician. We are a high volume, high quality collision center looking for a self-motivated technician that can perform the following task: Efficiently assemble and disassemble a variety of vehicle makes and models, assist with paint preparation including priming and seam sealing, repair and replace panels including fenders, door skins and quarter panels, repair medium to large sized dents, and some welding. Requirements • Minimum of 6 months experience working in a collision or body shop • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. • Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles • Prep, mask, and tape vehicles for repair. • Color-sand, polish, and buff vehicles prior to pre-delivery. • Utilize paint supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner. • Maintain an organized and clean workspace • Perform work with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealer, manufacturer and insurance standards. • Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements. • Return special tools to proper place. • Prepare work station(s) with materials and parts for Paint Technicians • Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Job Type: Full Time Opened: 8:00 to 5:00, Monday- Friday with potential overtime available. Pay depends on experience.
