Summary (Temp position 4-6 weeks) The Manufacturing Technician reports to the department Manager and will perform their responsibilities under the guidance and direction of the area Lead person(s). This position is responsible for the assembly of various products utilizing documents maintained within the ISO 13485 Quality Management System (QMS). DCN provides individuals with formalized training to perform the assembly and testing required to produce our quality products. Reads and follows Quality documentation used in a manufacturing environment 2. May receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. 3. Knowledge of cGMP and ISO guidelines a plus. 4. Will fill in the documentation, concisely and legibly, for review by Quality and Manufacturing. 5. Regularly communicate with the Lead to take the daily assignment and to report any relevant production-related information during the workday. 6. Works individually and as part of a production team to manufacture and assemble diagnostic tests. 7. Operates reagent deposition, lamination and cutting equipment for lateral flow device production 8. Labeling of pouches and finished packaging. 9. Inserting desiccant into pouches and boxes. 10. Assemble cassettes to released documentation. May support R&D with Demo and V&V builds 11. Pouching and sealing of cassettes 12. Packages assembled parts into finished good packaging. 13. Supports the shipping/receiving process. 14. Perform Quality Control activities as required. 15. Uses small tools, fixtures, and equipment as part of the assembly. 16. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
