Looking for a hard-working and honest individual with the knowledge to perform maintenance, gardening, and grounds keeping tasks of a 2+ acre private property with small orchard (150+ fruit trees) a very large raised vegetable garden bed area and various flower gardens as well as a cactus garden located in Granite Bay CA We are looking for a well-qualified person in all aspects of organic grounds keeping from the care of fruit trees, flowers, lawns, various vegetable gardens, a cactus garden, irrigation and have some knowledge of diagnosing / treating garden funguses and diseases. Tasks include: Maintain landscape, orchard, and gardens (Mowing, pruning, weed eating, planting, fertilization, spray, bird netting, etc.) Repair and maintain irrigation system Maintain motorized landscaping equipment and tools Perform other maintenance and handyman work Qualifications: Attention to detail and proactive in maintenance Able to work independently Prior irrigation/gardening and orchard experience required Handyman skill in fence repair, carpentry, painting a definite plus Driver’s License and with clean driving record Valid work permit or citizenship Able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to understand/speak English Job Type: Long term part-time (Average weekly hours – 20 plus as-needed) Rate to be determined based on experience Flexible hours
