My band hasn't played in Youngstown. We play as much as we want, which is 2-4 times a month at this point. Jobs, kids, wives, lives make more than that amount difficult for us. We play some typical and some obscure and some stuff we made up and some things we rearranged to fit our style. We are about 6 months old as a band, but everyone has been playing for 10-60 years. As far as willingness to drive is concerned, we have played or are booked in Lake, Ashtabula, Portage, Trumbull and Columbiana counties, as well as a few gigs in PA. Covid made the bars scared to book bands for fear of loss of license and fines. Now they are staffed too light to handle the load a band will draw in. Weird year.
