We are hiring for a full time Painters/ journeyman painters to grow with our team. Our service area is in Sacramento and surrounding cities. Must Have: Must be able to read and write Must be over 18 years of age Must have transportation Minimum 1 year painting experience. Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be comfortable working in extreme weather (ex. over 90F degrees in summer months) Ideal candidate to have a variety of the following: Prepare a variety of surfaces for paints, enamels, varnishes, lacquers, or other protective or decorative materials. Apply paints and other finishes by brush, spray gun, and roller. Clean, adjust, maintain, and make minor repairs on spray painting equipment. Journeyman painters would be able to prepare, read, interpret, and work from sketches, drawings, plans, and blueprints. Safely operate tools and machines of the painting trade. Safely work from ladders and scaffolds. Safely lift heavy equipment and materials. Provide leadership and technical assistance to others. Work effectively and cooperatively with staff, customers, vendors, and contractors. Learn characteristics of new materials and equipment of the painting trade and update skills to adapt to changing technology. Use brushes, rollers, and spray guns to apply the required number of coats of paints, enamels, lacquers on a wide variety of surfaces such as wood, metal, glass, plaster, brick, stucco, cement, wallboard. Keep work area clean at the end of each shifts. Job type: Full Time Pay: Determines on experiences
