New band forming. Pro-level guitarist/singer/songwriter (producer too). I recently relocated back to Chicagoland, and I’m interested in finding some players to make some music, have some fun, and make a little (let’s be reasonable) money. ME: Well-regarded songwriter, a few records out on Apple Music, etc. Had a release featured on iTunes/Apple Music. INSPIRATION (not necessarily in order): Black Crowes, Jason Isbell, Emmylou Harris, Tom Petty, Mavis Staples, John Mellencamp, Son Volt, War on Drugs, the Clash, Bob Marley, Lucinda Williams… many, many more. LOOKING FOR: players who listen, great time/taste… have soul. Keys, bass, drums... (have a 2nd guitar player and female co-lead singer lined up) It’s not about age- it’s about chops, a good attitude, and desire to make things musical. Send mp3s, videos, etc. - some kind of sample of your playing (I'll reciprocate) Idea would be to find some folks that have chemistry, get things put together by fall, and ready to roll asap. (I like to work quickly).
