The Facility Maintenance Specialist: The Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the basic maintenance and repair of the office facility and surrounding area. Follows through with the completion of maintenance requests and support as needed. Due to the varying nature of requests and responsibilities, duties can vary vastly from day to day. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Follow maintenance schedule to complete rotating maintenance tasks. - Maintain product levels in restrooms and break rooms - Patrol dumpster trash areas and perimeter of location to ensure clear of debris - Operate a yard mule to pick up metal and nails - Handle basic repairs and maintenance requests including but not limited to: - Carpet spot cleaning - Ballast/Light replacements - Room Setup changes - Furniture movement/repair/buildout - Waxing floors - Minor inspect treatments - Outside glass cleaning - Oversee contractors when repairs to the building are being made. - Maintain warehouse and grounds and disposes of debris. - Other tasks as assigned or apparent. Education and Experience Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Must have a valid driver’s license. Minimum of one (1) year maintenance experience required. Experience working as a maintenance specialist at an apartment complex or corporate office highly preferred. Please note: the person in this role will be on their feet for long periods of time, spend time outdoors, need to be able to lift items up to 100 lbs, along with other physical demands.
