Pioneer Manor and Kenzie Apartments serve income-qualified people age 62 and older. This is a shared position between Pioneer Manor in White Bear Lake and Kenzie in St. Anthony Village. Pioneer Manor and Kenzie Apartments are hiring for a shared Maintenance Technician II/Janitor. Join an amazing community and team! Schedule: Full time - 80 hours per pay period Pioneer Manor - 20 hours of maintenance per week Kenzie – 20 hours of maintenance and janitorial per week Education: High school graduate or equivalent. State of Minnesota driver’s license in good standing. Required Experience: Two years of prior experience in physical plant maintenance or related field. Preferred Experience: Work experience in health care facility preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High school graduate Advanced vocational training preferred Current Minnesota Special Class Boiler License or ability to obtain within 4 months of hire Current Minnesota driver's license and good driving record 3+ years of prior experience in physical plant maintenance or related field Mechanical aptitude with the ability to accomplish tasks well and on time Ability to perform maintenance and janitorial tasks Ability to work independently, organized, and attend to detail in a timely manner Interest in regularly working near older adults Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
