I created the Soul Intent Band in 2014 and turned it into one of the most successful bands in Hampton Roads. I retired from them this summer as their manager, leader, & drummer. I am in the process of working on two new projects for a group that will accommodate smaller venues. Ideally, the group would be four; five at the very most. The singers for each of these projects are experienced soloists with years of experience. Each of them are among the best in their particular genre', and they each have a current following. With my experience booking Soul Intent for over 300 gigs, venues to play will not be an issue. We are going to be putting together separate two hour shows consisting of approximately 25 to 27 songs each. The ideal candidates will play proficiently and have some vocal ability for backup and/or harmony. Sober and reliable is a must as well as stage presence. The genres are as follow: Early 60's, Doo Wop, British bands of the 60's, 70's, Disco, R & B, & Motown If you feel you could contribute to this please contact me.
