If you are looking for a long-term career in the great outdoors, we are the landscaping company to work for. What’s the day to day like? You will be managing a full work crew. No day is ever the same, your duties will include completing administrative tasks such as managing timecards, signing for plant delivery, equipment inventory, etc. Our Maintenance Crew Leader is responsible for documenting safety and ensuring safety procedures are followed. You will ensure the completion of routine maintenance procedures while ensuring job performance. Some of the things you might do each day will include: Leading the work crew Completing administrative tasks such as time cards, signing for plant delivery, equipment inventory, spray use reports, punch lists Documenting safety and/or job issues by using a digital camera and conducting safety audits Ensuring the completion of routine maintenance procedures such as: cleaning, weeding, planting, watering Attending walk-throughs and ensuring that all job quality performance expectations are met Performing ground maintenance functions such as raking leaves, sweeping sidewalks, cleaning debris, clearing ditches, digging, and performing handwork as necessary by utilizing necessary tools such as a pick, shovel or other hand tools; cleaning canals, drains and tree wells; operating light landscape equipment Oversees the planting of vegetation Ensures compliance with all company policies and safety procedures   What are the job requirements? At least two years of professional landscape and grounds management experience required. Previous management of a crew is preferred. A valid class C drivers license is required. Shifts are 7:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday (that’s right – weekends off!) and pay ranges from $16.00 to $22.00/hourly depending on experience.
