Hi my name is RWBY (pronounced Ruby, but spelled after the anime) I am a shih tzu border terrier mix, They think. I am about 2yrs old. I am house broken &about 15#’s. My owner has a SEVERE degenerative joint disease that has gotten to the point she can’t provide me with the exercise I need. So I am looking for a new ACTIVE owner so I came be happy again. I LOVE LOVE LOVE going for walks, I get so excited when my human bring out my walking harness! I know basic obedience.. Mostly, sometime I get overly excited & don’t fuscous on what I’m being told… but do know: leave it, come, sit, wait, stay &down. I Also know “get” means to pick up whatever you dropped ! if you say “up-up” I’ll jump up in your lap if you are sitting, or jump on my back legs if you are standing so you can pick me up. … if you ask me to “snuggle” when I’m in your arms I’ll settle down & lay my head on your shoulder to snuggle you, I love that almost as much as a walk. I am crate trained (know it as kennel or bed… I am use to getting a GREENIES dog treat at bed time so I can brush my teeth) I LOVE chewing on bones, chewies &dog toys also Love to play Fetch & tug. I need a owner who is loves to be physically active to go on walks every day, will be health conscious about my diet & knowledgeable about canine dietary needs ( I eat “taste of the wild”, never feed me cheep stuff Purina dog food or other supper cheap food as that will lead to health issues) I am good with other dogs once I get to know them, I LOVE cats/kittens. I am good with rabbits (they are scurry & bossy) I am a good family dog, but have never lived with young kids, only teens & adults so far, but with the proper introduction I think I would like them.
