Custom sign fabricator When work orders come in you will work with management, salespeople and designers to establish the best plan of action for the individual job/customer. You will make your own cut list based on the work order and drawing. Weld the sign in a safe manner and grind down any visible welds. Our paint prep team will sand and prepare the sign for paint. There may be times when you have to sand and prep metal as well. All of this will be taught to you if you're unfamiliar but we are looking for a leader who's willing to take ownership of each job and meet tight deadlines. Generally signs are the last things installed into a new or existing business before opening so there's a small window that each sign needs to be completed in. Expect some amount of overtime as you become acclimated with the process. Requirements- • MIG welding experience (Aluminum preferred but will train) • Hand and power tool experience * Grinder, Chop saw, orbital sander, drill press * Manual sheet metal brake (a plus) • Ability to lift 50 pounds • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively • Ability to work unsupervised • Ability to work weekends if needed
