This study tests a mobile app (for phone or tablet) for people ages 18 - 65 who have had substance abuse within the past year. The app offers coping skills free help (called Seeking Safety) in weekly sessions delivered by a certified peer leader. The study is funded by the National Institute on Health and participants can receive up to $115 in amazon.com e-gift cards for completing assessments. There is no cost to you for participating in this project and you don't need to show up in person anywhere; the project is fully remote and you can do it any time that works for you. Interested?
