MEMCO Spring is in need of heavy equipment operators in the Houston area. Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions: • Effectively identify soil types and determine required equipment and procedures required to achieve desired compaction and grading results. • Determine required safety procedures based on soil types encountered. • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks. • Clean construction site to eliminate possible hazards. • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way to ensure zero accidents. • Dig ditches, grade dirt and concrete efficiently and accurately, levels earth to grade specifications. • Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles and immediately notify supervisor. • Report any unsafe work practices or safety hazards encountered on the job to the Foreman. Must have experience. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Payrate: $20 plus
