Red states are basically welfare states and rural areas receive many times over in state and federal money compared to what little they pay in. So it's really amusing when rural hicks whine about what they're paying for immigrants when the truth is the blue areas pay the bills for immigrants and the rural hicks. The map shows states in red (which are mostly Republican controlled) that receive more in federal funding than their taxpayers pay in. The blue states (mostly Democrat controlled) receive less in federal funding than their taxpayers pay in. So bitching about anything if you live in a red state is pretty stupid. YOU'RE the one getting MY money.
