Guitarist seeking Musicians

37 y/o Guitarist looking to form a band or join an existing band. I've played guitar off and on since I was a teenager, but in the past few years have been playing steadily. I play mostly rhythm with some lead licks thrown in here and there, and I can play a bit of blues leads but not a shredder. My style is a mix of Blues, Rock, Country, Ambient. My influences come from all over the board and cover at least two centuries of styles. I have an eclectic taste in music, from Classical to Metal, Jazz, Folk, Blues, World music.. you name it, I probably like it. I like to incorporate those styles into my playing when it fits the mood.. I'd really like to fall in with a good Singer/Songwriter as I don't really write lyrics, but can contribute to the process. I have bits and pieces of guitar parts and lyrical themes. I have plenty of gear, various instruments and have a small recording space, but not really a good space for loud rehearsals. My preferred method of learning songs or coming up with parts for songs is to be in my own space on my own time. Most times I'll record a jam session, take it home and listen to it until ideas start coming to me. I know a little bit of theory, which I'm constantly learning more of. Native to Buncombe/Madison County. Fairly liberal and immersed in the Asheville vibe. So no Bigots please. you're interested in seeing if there's musical chemistry, hit me up.
