FOUND COCKATIEL! Found a cockatiel while hanging out at Ft. Tilden beach in NYC on July 31st 2021. Was found on the beach not too far from the Fisherman’s Lot and Silver Gull Beach Club. Checked the Brooklyn and Queens lost and found pet boards, but did not find any matches, so took the bird overnight until I could find professional help. Now s/he is with Sean Casey Animal Rescue in Brooklyn-they are amazing folks who will be caring for the cockatiel until a home is found. If you think this may be your bird, please call Sean Casey Animal Rescue with a description of the bird and the bird’s leg band number! They will be holding for one week, and are happy to reunite you 💗 If the owner is not found in one week, the rescue will be adopting her out. Hoping for the best for this sweet little one!
