Canine Care Canine Care is a well loved dog walking company, providing service since 1992. We have an established customer base, which we maintain through an ongoing marketing campaign. Once your hours are set, then so too is your weekly routine. We have a team of coworkers to help when your day goes sideways, and to fill in when you take a day off. We structure our company to support our staff so they can deliver a high quality service to our customers. In other words, we take care of you so you can take care of the dogs. Responsibilities: Enter the homes of clients and visit with their pets for varying lengths of time (either 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes) Walk dogs as required Feed dogs on occasion Check that dogs have ample water supply and refill as necessary Check for damage caused by dogs in the absence of their owners Clean up any potty accidents that have occurred in the homes of our client GPS check in and out of visits Communicate with clients at end of visits Requirements and Qualifications: Must be available Mondays through Fridays from 9:00-2:00 Long term commitment (more than just a few months - this is not a temporary nor a seasonal position) Must have an automobile to perform the duties and responsibilities Must be extremely detail oriented, able to follow instructions Must be responsible, reliable, and dependable Must be timely and punctual Must be able to self-manage Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be compassionate about animals Must feel comfortable interacting with both small and large animals Must be able to pass a criminal background check
