Intervals, Scales, Modes, and Chords!...These are the basic building blocks of the entire musical language, and they are AWESOME! Any time you spend in learning and exploring these concepts, will pay you back magnificently, both now and long into the future! Understanding how music works will greatly improve your songwriting skills, your improvisational skills, and your ability to collaborate and perform with other musicians. You don't even have to know how to read music to benefit from what I have to show you. Music theory is for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players of all ages. Major keys, minor keys, extended chords, progressions---it all can make sense if you take the time to explore it. We can start right at the beginning, or you can bring me your musical problems and questions, and we can take it from there. Give me a call and we can get started today! My name is O.
