Seeking lead guitarist

Gigging cover band, Aged To Perfection (ATP), is seeking a lead guitarist.​ Our current lead guitarist is moving to sunnier weather and we are in the process of moving forward with our search for his replacement.​ We do have gigs established and are fortunate to have a fill in that will be helping us out until we are able to transition the newest member.​ We are a five piece (drums, bass, lead vocals, rhythm guitar, lead guitar).​ Rhythm guitarist could not play leads to save his life, so no ego there!!​ Lead chops are all you! ​ Our ideal candidate for lead guitarist will have gig ready gear, be skilled, quick learner, ENERGETIC, goofy, fun and be willing to wear a diaper and bow tie on stage (just kidding, but if you really want to we will not hold you back, but will most likely look at you funny).​ Background or lead vocals are a huge bonus!!​ Gender and background do not matter to us.​ We seek personality and SHOWMANSHIP. ​ We currently practice in the Middletown area and occasionally the west side of Hamilton.​ The areas of our shows encompass from Newport, KY to Dayton, OH, and everything in between.​ Our typical month will see 2-3 shows with the occasional 4-5 depending on each members schedule.​ ​ The genres covered range from modern and classic rock to our own twist to pop and dance tunes.​ ZZtop, Foo Fighters, Poison, Black Crowes, Creed, Maroon 5, Eve 6, Live, AC/DC, Alice In Chains, Candlebox, Collective Soul, Genuwine, Phil Collins, 3 Doors Down, Coolio, Jason Aldeen and more.​ We aim to do a wide variety of music to appeal to a broad range of audience demographics.​ We also like putting our own ‘ROCK’ spin on dance tunes. ​ We all use IEM’s at shows and are direct lines with our instruments.​ No amps or monitors on stage, however, this will not be a requirement for the new member and we are flexible in this regard.​ Just something to take note of when considering auditioning.​ We always contract sound for all shows and typically stick to one engineer but work with others when he is not available. ​ Current members are seasoned musicians with age ranges from 35-55.​ We all have other projects as well and strive to make it feasible for everyone to be able to continue those projects, keep the families in mind, and to also continue propelling Aged to Perfection forward.​ ​ You can find out more about us at www.facebook.com/agedtoperfectionband.​ Thank you! ​ ​ ​ ​
