Assistant Processor-Milk Plant, Mulino, Oregon Assistant Processor Lady Lane Farm -- Mulino, OR We are looking for a hardworking, diligent, and dedicated individual to join our team. This position is in production and packaging of milk in glass bottles as well as other dairy products like butter, ice cream and cheese. Our processing plant is located on the dairy farm in Mulino, Oregon. A reliable employee who is committed to the quality and safety of our products and livestock can look forward to long-term employment with advancement opportunities in the company. Daily tasks for an Assistant Processor would include but are not limited to set-up and operation of bottle washing equipment, assisting in the production of products as well as the daily cleaning of the processing facilities and farm. Processing shifts range in hours and occur 7 days a week. Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Sunday; days off may vary; not consecutive days; some days may require 10-hour shifts. This is a physically demanding job. An Assistant Processor must be able to stand for 10-12 hours a day, must be able to lift and move items OVER 50 pounds frequently and will work in an environment that can be hot, wet, humid, or cold. A strong work ethic, the ability to work independently with little or no supervision, be of assistance where needed for others is required. Reliable transportation is required (not bus accessible -- 1 mile from stop) and must have earned a high school diploma or general education degree.
