Description
Hi! This is Kona. She is a 6 month old doberman puppy.
We rescued her in May, and she was extremely malnourished and neglected. Since then, we’ve worked on socializing her and feeding her to get her to the right weight. She is on the smaller side for a doberman since she was malnourished.
We unfortunately have to give her up as our established dog at home, a female german shepherd, bullies her constantly. She tries to establish her dominance constantly and poor Kona suffers from it. We tried working on it and it doesn’t seem to be getting better.
As for her behavior, she is the most wonderful, calm dog you could ever have. She loves kids, she lets them play with her tail, ears, face and paws without reacting. She walks well on a leash. She knows to lay down on her bed and go outside. She also loves car rides.
She is potty trained with some accidents here and there. We trained her in a crate, so she is totally fine to be in one.
I would not pair her with an extremely hyper dog unless you give them time to properly meet. She is good with hyper dogs as long as she is given the time to meet them and know them.
I’m asking a rehoming fee of $150, only to make sure that you are really dedicated to taking her home. please contact me for more info :)
*i did post an ad a few weeks ago for her and took it down as we had hired a trainer to help us and unfortunately it didn’t work*
