''I am looking for an accordion player who is able to handle the styles mentioned below.''... To have a once a week rehearsal/jam at mid-day. I would prefer a''Mature Older or a retired'' player whose into music theory with full knowledge in - reading chord structures - and have improvisation skills.My instruments are the Vibraphone and Piano. Its very rare to get gigs in those styles these days, since rock & country music are most popular! Maybe getting a gig ''here and there''in some restaurant for a sophisticated audience that likes Jazz tunes from the golden era of the 20's through the 80's.... Straight ahead Jazz, using rhythms of Bossa Nova, Swing, Ballads and Samba (A-must to know..) .. Thanks for reading.
