Any Blender Artist Here?

I would like to learn the basics and get more aquainted with the interface of Blender. I know theres alot of comprehensive videos on youtube. But for starters, I'd like to learn it 1 on 1. After that, I will refer to youtube vids for learning more advance aspects of the software. As far as my background goes; I work in the aerospace industry as a Design Engineer. Therefore Im well versed in several CAD 3D modeling softwares. So learning the basics of Blender shouldnt be too much of a steep learning curve for me. For now I want to be at a level where I can comfortably utilize the use of the rendering and surfacing tools. I'd also would like to learn and figure out how to create models of various parts and assemblies. Everything else such as animation I can learn on my own. I have a couple of 3d printers here at home. I figure using Blender would enable me to create more artistic models for 3d printing, as opposed to the more linear technical type designs im used creating on CAD. Speaking of my 3D printers, I can 3d print anything for you in exchange for your time in teaching me. So i hope to hear from you. Thanks
