We'll pay $160 for six hours of your time! On Saturday, August 14, we are hosting an engagement party for our son and his fiance at Sugar House Park. We are hoping to have almost 100 people attend. We need help from two people for six hours, from 4:00 to 10:00 PM. Here are the tasks: +Decorate. The first task will be to help decorate the tables in a public park pavilion to make it ready for a nice party. We have coverings for the seats as well as tabletops. We also have centerpieces with lights. +Prep. We’ll need to prepare for barbecuing both vegan and animal-based products, including burgers and brats on both sides, taking care to keep serving surfaces clean and the vegan products separate from the animal-based products. +Cook. We’ll need to cook the food on the park’s barbecue grills. We expect the heat to be about 90 degrees when we start cooking. +Eat. You are not required to eat the food, but you are welcome and encouraged to eat what you cook and help to prep. Please don't leave hungry. +Serve. We’ll need some help serving, though the plan is to offer a buffet, not plated service. We’ll need your help serving cake for dessert. +Clean. Before the party ends, we’ll need your help to clean up the cooking areas and food service areas. We’ll have one hour from the time the party is scheduled to end to remove all decorations, some of which will need to be carefully packed and others can be thrown in the trash. +Load. All the party equipment, dishes, decorations we keep, etc., into vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a food handlers permit and experience with catering.
