Alden Summer Train Show and Swap Meet, August 14-15

The Northern Michigan Railroad Club (NMRRC) will be conducting their annual series of Summer Train Shows and Swap Meets starting the weekend of August 14-15. Additional shows will take place August 22-23, and August 28-29. Show hours are noon to 4pm each day, with the Swap Meet open at 10am Saturdays. Whether you are a model railroader, or you are nostalgic for the days when the family train was brought out during the holidays, you will find something of interest here! The Depot (Pere Marquette Train Station) is also the Helena Township Historical Museum, and displays trains and memorabilia of all scales and for all ages. It is located at 10670 Coy St (Rapid City Rd), Alden, MI 49612, just south of the Alden business district. We will have a variety of Lionel, MTH, and HO model railroading items for sale at the swap meets. We have several complete train sets; several buildings, towers and scenery pieces; a variety of engines and rolling stock; and a quantity of track and switches available for purchase. Come join us for a walk-through history! Masks and social distancing will be maintained in accordance with current guidelines, and arrows will guide you through a one-way path in the building.
