Organic Vegetable Farm Production Assistant

Common Hands Farm, right outside of Philmont, is hiring a full time employee to assist with general farm labor, harvesting, processing veggies, packaging orders and working farmers markets. This person ideally has a minimum of 1-2 years experience with farming (organically grown produce) but we are open to newcomers to the farming world if it’s the right fit and you have previous work experience in detail oriented, fast pace, physically demanding industries. The ideal candidate: -loves working outside and is comfortable working in all types of weather -has general knowledge about food, specifically vegetables and herbs -is willing to learn about our business and fill in different tasks and roles as needed -is a team player & helpful toward others -has full and flexible availability -has a great ability to multitask -has a license and can drive a van -enjoys customer service / farmers markets Schedule: The schedule is somewhat flexible but is at least 40 hours a week. Ideally, you'd have some weekend availability for farmers markets. Pay: Dependent on skill level, $15 per hour. To apply: Please email us and attach your resume.
