Description
I'm a retired and fully vaccinated senior citizen (70s), former software engineer turned hobbyist accordion player/singer. I've been at it for several years and have learned to read sheet music well enough if I practice in advance. I like folk, Americana, Celtic, world, comedic tunes, really all types of music.
I'm looking for other middle age or senior citizen musicians (any instrument) or singers who also
- are reasonably comfortable working from fully notated sheet music (not simply chord symbols or tabs)
- are vaccinated, and
- reside in or nearby northern NJ
that would like to get together for practice sessions, daytime preferred, to collaborate, work on duets and have some musical fun.
You may be surprised how nicely the accordion works with your instrument. Moreover, if you haven't touched your instrument for a while but have decided to get back into it; or, like me, have taken up music as an adult, you're especially likely to find our collaboration satisfying.
If this peeks your interest pop me an email that includes
- your town,
- age,
- a rundown of your musical activities, and
mention any special considerations you may have. Let's get acquainted!
