Join the Association for the Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field. The SIU Alumni Association hosts its traditional SIU Day at Wrigley Field Sunday, September 26. Join the Association and fellow alumni first for a pregame gathering at 11 a.m. inside The Cubby Bear, courtesy of the Loukas family, followed by the Cubs vs. Cardinals game. First pitch is at 1:05 p.m. Enjoy a menu of hamburgers, hot dogs, assorted side dishes, and dessert. Each pregame ticket includes one complimentary domestic beer or wine. A cash bar is also available. Due to city-wide COVID-19 restrictions, this year's pregame event will be inside and limited to 200 people. You will need to purchase pregame tickets here ahead of time to be allowed entry. There will be no additional ticket sales at the door. Note: Those who purchase game tickets will receive an email with instructions about how to access them via the MLB smartphone app. No paper tickets will be issued for the game. As the largest and oldest organization on campus, the SIU Alumni Association has been proudly serving SIU alumni and friends since 1896.  It seeks to engage alumni, students, and friends of the university by preserving SIU traditions, promoting pride in an SIU education, and facilitating opportunities for students and alumni to connect professionally.
