The annual API OKC golf tournament goes towards sponsoring scholarships for local students interested in going into oil and gas related jobs The Annual Golf Tournament supports API OKC's college scholarship program which is awarded to 3-5 students each year.  The golf tournament will have prizes for 1st/2nd/3rd as well as a raffle. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Hole sponsorships and shirts are also be available to purchase. The Oklahoma City Chapter of API strives to serve all aspects of the oil and gas industry by acting as a joint industry support organization. In addition, the Chapter actively supports the community and the surrounding area. The governing Board meets once a month and directs the resources of the Chapter. The Board consists of oil and gas professionals with a variety of backgrounds including legal, finance, engineering, geoscience, computers and education. The membership is made up of individuals employed with the upstream oil and gas industry including production and service companies. Service company participation runs the gamut from drilling-related to financial, legal, and computer support. www.apiokc.com
