Each license holder is now responsible for individually determining whether the CEU workshop is appropriate for your required continuing education. The Texas Administrative Code does offer some guidelines for this. They all require that CEU providers take attendance, be qualified and teach on appropriate/relevant content, use an evaluation instrument, and keep records for a few years, requirements which The Grief Center CE Presentations meet. For ARKANSAS Attendees: The Arkansas Social Work Board does not pre-approve continuing education workshops. It is the licensee's responsibility, using his/her professional judgement, to determine the workshops that are applicable and appropriate to his/her professional development as a social worker and that they meet the definition of SWCE.
