RIGHTFIELD Reed Hoelscher and Jack Blocker grew up together. They went to the same school and played on the same sports teams, up until middle school, when they parted ways. Years later, they reconnected after finding out that they lived in the same dorm at the University of Arkansas, and what started as old friends jamming in the music room and watching baseball games together turned into musical duo Rightfield. They moved into the same house and started fine-tuning their sound--before they knew it, Rightfield was opening for larger bands and expanding their audiences faster than ever. Their deluxe album is a culmination of their successes and failures in the creation of Rightfield. Their goal is to be timeless-- to make music that will be remembered for the next 50 years, not the next 50 days.
