Join us for field & industry tours, and discussions focused on economic updates, federal and state policy updates, and more. The Eastern Oregon Economic Summit will include field & industry tours, general session speakers, and a series of discussion panels focused on regional economic updates, federal and state legislative updates, program and industry updates, and more. The Eastern Oregon Women's Coalition hosts the Summit. It is for private and public sector leaders throughout Oregon interested in learning how to tap into the growth and potential of Eastern Oregon's economy. Industry experts and state and federal lawmakers will be the speakers, providing updates on current legislation and economic trends, with an emphasis on leveraging Eastern Oregon's growing economy to develop stronger communities. Thursday, August 19Field & Industry Tours | 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Thursday will include field & industry tours focused on four primary areas: Water TourHousing TourEconomic Development & Workforce TourForestry TourBuses for each tour will leave the Armand Larive Middle School in Hermiston at 8:00 am. Buses will return to Hermiston at 4:00 pm. Lunch will be provided. Dinner & Reception | 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm A dinner and reception at the Hermiston Agriculture Research & Extension Campus (HAREC) will occur from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. The cost is included in the price of your ticket. Friday, August 20General Session & Breakout Discussions Friday will include the General Session with keynotes speakers, state policymakers, and more. In addition, lunch will be provided, followed by breakout discussions.
