The Lucky Squirrel is an outdoor event featuring 150-200 dealers, vendors, and artisans selling goods such as homemade soap, pet products, vintage wares, seasonal jams, honey, jewelry, various kinds of art and crafts, not to mention bric-a-brac of items like books and toys, as well as outdoor yard art and garage sale finds on the third Saturday, May through September. Bake sale and hot food from local vendors are also available for purchase.

The Lucky Squirrel Flea Market is held on the third Saturday, May through September, at the northeast corner of Ford Rd & Middlebelt in the Town Center Plaza parking lot, north of the Detroit Metro Airport, just minutes from I-275, I-75 I-96, and I-94.
