He is the pastor of Oasis of Hope Christian Church. As a life-long resident of Detroit, Pastor May is very interested in the revival of the City of Detroit. He believes that the church should have an integral part in the revival of the city. He is saddened by all the blight that has overtaken the city. Pastor May remembered how in his youth the church was the center of the community and all who lived in the area sought out the church as a place of help and refuge. God was leading him to help reestablish that tradition. The Living Waters CDC was created with that vision in mind. Our mission is to provide programs and services that will create a sustainable and vibrant community.
