Our program is designed to help you and your organization engage with your community and enhance your impact via effective Storytelling.
Program Description: How do you share your story of impact with your community? Join us to explore the art and science of Storytelling and how this active strategy can increase community engagement and drive social innovation. We will equip you and your team to set your communications objectives, define your audience, select the best messengers, and amplify the elements of your messages that will build trust amongst your constituents.
We will ground our discussion in the premise that storytelling is both an art and a science and an active strategy that can increase community engagement and drive social impact. We will inspire and challenge our participants by reframing their expectations of storytelling.
We have been delighted to share our expertise in Storytelling at conferences and training programs offered by Ashoka and Philanthropy Miami.
Our Desired Learning Outcomes• Understand the elements of effective storytelling• Recognize the impact of trust on communications• Know how to define their most important audiences• Be equipped to set their storytelling/communications objectives
Our Team: Carla Crossno and Soledad Picon, the Principals of Hatched, will lead the program. Sharing experiences and best practices from their decades working in marketing, fundraising and community engagement, they will provide participants with invaluable insights, offer detailed examples and case studies, and suggest specific action items. Together, Carla and Sol have helped organizations including United Way, Easterseals, Girl Scouts, Miami Dade College, The Beacon Council, Code/Art, The Schultz Family Foundation, MBAF, and The First Five Years Fund to build audiences, advance missions, and engage communities.
