A precious Pug looking for new home

Description

Bilbo is my lovely little pug turning 7 this month. I’ve had him since he was a pup and I’m looking to re-home him as I’ll be moving abroad and don’t feel comfortable bringing him. I’m sad to say goodbye, but I’m sure he’ll bring so much joy to his new home! This funny little guy is an excellent companion. He’s extremely sweet and snuggly and relatively low maintenance. He spends his days napping, chewing on raw hide and playing with toys. While he can be very independent, he also enjoys being close, often sitting up against me or falling asleep in my bed (although he’s also okay with sleeping alone). He’s great with other dogs and enjoys wrestling with them (even if they’re about 10x his size!). He’s generally mild tempered/low energy (a classic “lazy pug”) but he also has playful bursts of energy including running outside (just sprinting as he tends to tire out pretty quickly). As a purebred, he does have a genetic eye disorder (you can see the darkness around his irises) which means he’s gradually having a harder time seeing. He gets around just fine but I do keep an eye on where he’s going as he can bump into things from time to time (it comes and goes). He also gets very itchy, I believe due to allergies, so I give him some Benadryl when he starts to scratch. He’s got a microchip and is up to date on vaccines. Bilbo’s always had a lot of TLC so I’m looking for someone to provide a very loving home. If you or someone you know may be a good fit, please reach out and we’ll look forward to hearing from you! p.s. Asking for a $300 adoption fee to ensure new owners are able to afford care & upkeep.
