Newly formed band seeks keyboardist. Looking to be mostly orginals with a small collection of covers that can be done with our own style and personality. 2 guitarists, both of which can sing, 1 serving as a baritone style lead vocalist, bassist and drummer. Our ages range from 34-47. Style is hard to describe, since we want to be able to adapt our sound to the song we write, whether it be rock, blues, blues rock, folk, funk, soul or jam band style. Our main influences range from The Beatles to The Black Crowes to Gov't Mule with punk, funk, Motown, rock, blues and any element that works. To answer the biggest question up front: Our end goal is to record....to make music.....to play live. We know that at our ages and with our daily lives of families and careers, the "rock star" ship sailed. But, if we can play our music at World Cafe Live, The Union Transfer, Dobbs on South St. or those places that cater to original music, that is awesome. Hell, even a chance to be added to WXPN and WSTW playlists as local artists is awesome, too. You: someone who can appreciate the sound of the Hammond B3 organ, a piano or even a fucking accordian if that makes the song work. We also ask that you be vaccinated, as we all are and we have families/friends/colleagues we want to keep safe as well. We rehearse in Haddon Heights mainly on Tuesday nights, possibly Wednesday nights.
