SMITHSONIAN'S NATIONAL ZOO The zoo is in three main sections: upper zoo, valley, and lower zoo. See the Asia Trail, Cheetah Conservation, Elephant Trails, Andean Bears, Great Apes, Panda House, and much more. The Smithsonian National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute is a champion for animal conservation and wildlife research. Their mission is to save species through science, education, and global conservation work.
